of Panama’s skyline never gets old! Casco Viejo, Panama City.
This photo is like life: bright and dark, calm and stormy all in the same frame.
This trip was very important for me in many aspects, a lot of soul searching was made, I realized a lot of things that had been in hold in my life and many decisions were made. Even though the river looked very calm, there was a hurricane going on inside of me.
Those moments were the ones that inspired this one.
“Sometimes you can grow more in a shorter amount of time with the right company than years of soul-searching alone, or by living the same patterns you’ve lived for your entire life” A.J. Darkholme, Rise of the Morningstar

We crossed the river to go to Wisconsin, to Prairie du Chien, a nice little town that is the Oldest Community on the upper Mississippi, we stopped to eat there and went to buy some cheese curds that were to die for.
So if you need a gun and some rum or beer you can get them @ the same stop in this town :O, plus you get to see all the stuffed animals they have in exhibition
After a delicious meal we drove to Cassville to take the ferry that would cross us again to the Iowa side, this was one of my favortie parts of the roadtrip, nothing beats the Mississippi in the afternoon right before the sun sets. The ferry trip was very interesting too, it well deserves its name The Pride of Cassville!
Next stop was Guttenberg, it is the nicest little town, you feel like you are in a storybook!. And on our way out I saw all these awesome barns, we even stopped so I could get down and photograph one of my faves.

We also stopped on another antique store just outside Guttenberg town with a lot of things, old cameras, bar stuff, they even had an old gas pump that was awesome! Of course we had to try some of the old hats they had for sale!
